Lamwell lawyers are successfully representing one of the biggest clients of a Luxembourg bank in the liquidation proceedings of the latter. Among other things, our lawyers had to negotiate with the Deposit Guarantee Fund (a governmental agency in Luxembourg).
We also had to provide explanations of all financial details of the Client’s business and transactions for the auditors of the bank.
Due to our successful negotiation strategy and correctly prepared documents, we were able to first receive reimbursement for the Client of the maximum deposit amount guaranteed by the state, and then – the recognition of the entire amount of debt in the liquidation proceedings of the bank.
