Lamwell’s team of lawyers led by Andriy Shulga is representing a foreign investor (UAE) as the owner of an IL-78 aircraft in a dispute with the tax authorities in a Ukrainian court.
The dispute is rendered more complex by the fact an American corporation, which has been engaged in the proceedings as a third party, has filed a separate claim on the subject matter of the dispute – the aircraft.
Despite multiple instances of abuse of procedural rights and challenges of the judges on the part of the third party, the decision in the case was rendered in favor of our Client. The consideration of the case continues in the Supreme Court.
Prior to that, our lawyers successfully represented the Client in negotiations with another American corporation on the purchase of the same aircraft.
