Lamwell lawyers have successfully confirmed the rights of a foreign investor to receive compensation under the final award of the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes against Ukraine in the amount of approximately USD 15 million, including interest accrued under the award.
The consideration of the application for recognition and enforcement of the ICSID final award took place at the Kyiv Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Ukraine. Currently, the actual enforcement of the ICSID award recognized by the Ukrainian courts has started.
